Uinta Academy RTC, LLC (young adult)

Uinta’s Young Adult Program serves young adults ages 18-21 who are having problems transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. Many of these young adults are struggling to finish high school, or even if they have graduated, are struggling to find their place in an adult world. These young adults want to be independent, but lack the skills, insight, and boundaries needed to navigate society as an autonomous adult. In the Young Adult program, they are challenged to take responsibility for their lives, gain insight into what stands in the way of progress, and work toward goals of independence and future success.

The Learning Clinic

It is the mission of The Learning Clinic Country Day School and the Rolling Ridge Residential Program to provide a complete range of services in education and treatment for students and their families. Our aim is to assist students in meeting their academic goals and preparing for future experiences in educational, vocational, and community settings. Our programs prepare students to live and work as full participants within their communities. Most important, we aim to help students maintain and improve their relationships with their families, with parents and siblings, and their social interactions and relationships within the larger community with dignity, independence and purpose.

Tamarack Center

Tamarack’s program provides a wide variety of services, all at given points in time, to improve a young person’s situation and to provide them tools for effective living once they leave the Center. Different kids respond differently to the many services, so we pay particularly close attention to what works well for each individual. For some kids the medication management, along with a structured and predictable environment, has a long lasting beneficial effect. Other kids seem to gain from the skills associated with DBT and the social skills acquired when living in an environment with other adolescents. Our recreation activities often provide an opportunity as well as a plan for successful living in a stressful world. Certainly our emphasis on family and individual therapy pave the way for permanent improvement in the most important human relationships.
